SoCal Spotlight (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a community-first brand that celebrates Southern California businesses with free spotlights and optional paid digital services delivered through Beetle & Frog Design, LLC. Our mission: Highlighting the local businesses that keep SoCal moving.

• You’re welcome to browse and discover featured businesses.
• Businesses we spotlight may receive a free account to view performance insights and learn about service add-ons.
• Please use the site lawfully and don’t interfere with servers, security, or the community.

If you nominate or apply for a spotlight, you may share names, stories, quotes, images, and other materials (“Submissions”). You represent and warrant that you have the right to share those Submissions. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, reproduce, edit (for clarity/length), publish, distribute, and promote Submissions across our website, social channels, and marketing materials to support the spotlight. We’ll always aim to keep the story authentic and respectful.

Public commenting is not enabled right now. If we add comments later, you will be responsible for what you post, and we may moderate or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

Spotlighted businesses may receive login credentials to view performance insights. You’re responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.

SoCal Spotlight is part of Beetle & Frog Design, LLC (beetleandfrog.com). While spotlights are free, businesses may also explore paid services (like web design, user experience, customer experience, SEO, or automation) through Beetle & Frog. Those services are covered by Beetle & Frog’s own contracts and policies.

The SoCal Spotlight name, logo, site design, and original content are our IP (or used with permission). Don’t copy, scrape, or republish our content without written permission, except as allowed by fair use.

We celebrate businesses and share their stories, but we don’t guarantee traffic, bookings, or revenue. Content is provided “as-is.” We strive for accuracy, yet information may occasionally be incomplete or outdated.

We’re not responsible for third-party sites we link to, their content, or their policies. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoCal Spotlight (and Beetle & Frog Design, LLC) disclaim all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the site will not exceed USD $100.

We may update these Terms occasionally. If the changes are significant, we’ll update the effective date at the top and may post a short notice on the site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Venue will be in state or federal courts located in California.
